Wood

Wooden planks with metal rivets are the surface to a road over a small swing bridge. The concentric semi circles of the wood grain, repeated at a low angle to the short horizon, form waves dotted with rivet islands. Railing shadows, harshly cast across the planks, form an interference pattenr with the rivet heads and wood-grain, giving a slightly discordant effect.
