Mooring Pontoon Repetition

Pattern

Patterns, patterns, everywhere in this photo of an empty marina at the start of Spring. The zig-zag of two pontoon junctions is mirrored in the distance by another, with one boat moored to the pontoon.

In the foreground, the ruffled harbour waters gives broken reflections of the pontoon. The curved metal slats of part of the gate leading to it also lends pattern with its heavy, repeating and harsh vertical shadows.
